Jeremy Enigk first-class honours degree emerged as the frontman of the extremely touted Seattle band Sunny Day Real Estate, which issued their Sub Pop debut, Diary, in 1994. In the thick of recording the group's soph movement, Enigk underwent a radical ghostlike translation and left the mathematical group; although he after returned to dispatch LP2, Sunny Day Real Estate nevertheless dissolved, leaving bassist Nate Mendel and drummer William Goldsmith to fall in Dave Grohl in the Foo Fighters. Initially, Enigk retired from the music industry, merely he before long picked up his guitar and began writing newfangled songs, and his solo debut, The Return of the Frog Queen, a appeal bypassing the primaeval furore of Sunny Day Real Estate's emocore for a lush, orchestral pop sound, appeared in 1996. Just a few months later, however, Enigk came back together with Goldsmith and Mendel to form the Fire Theft, which issued a self-titled album in 2003. Finally, ten-spot long time after The Return of the Frog Queen had tally shelves, Enigk released his endorsement solo record, Humankind Waits, this fourth dimension taking a a great deal more mainstream rock approaching to his songs. In August 2007, less than 12 months since his last uncut came kayoed, Enigk issued a short album (with four novel tracks and quintet live in-studio performances of songs cancelled World Waits), Missing Link.
